179MB mega.nz/file/UYwwyB7D#OzP_u4dO0DZ42Ji3Y2wAXZfSrp7obolArOHTwsT4wyYOf course(!), it's mushy-sounding as anything...however; between a matter of: the Capitol always being the most accessible route to having the original mixes...and, the fact, that the U.S. version of this album represents such a wonderfully-encapsulated relic of the frenzy of what the Beatles were in 1965: the total package of it was/remains so endearing --- the "faults" of the sound become just a sidebar ingredient one excuses to its unapologetic vintage. "HELP!" (the song) is, probably, the best example of an ongoing point I've detailed here before; concerning, how, in the majority of pre-Revolver-period tracks where John is the lead singer: (in the original releases) GEORGE WAS ALWAYS THE NEXT-LOUDEST HEARD IN THE BACKING HARMONY. I mean, in the original mix of "HELP!": it's, practically, a John and George duet! Paul is heard doing the four "intro falsettos" as well as the first two lines of the second verse ("And now my life has changed..."/"My in-de-pen-dence seems to..."). Besides those, you really can't tell he was even there because George is carrying the major harmonies himself. That is a nuance the mixing/eq of the modern remasters seems to have altered. ibb.co/wrYBkyqibb.co/Ky3TFxribb.co/R2PRV0n
