It really is incredible, how; upon closer evaluation, your-average/then-"disposable"-Bubblegum-Partridge Family album (actually) sounded better recorded and mixed than any pre-Abbey Road Beatles' album did(!). Of course, the famed Western Recorders studio had *something* to do with it...but: it shows they weren't just slapping David Cassidy's name on any 'ol recording to try to sell and, that there was a serious attempt at crafting quality Pop songwriting production at the time. The female "ghost harmony" here is provided by session singer Sally Stevens.
