One of the two earliest movies engrained-into my mind by the time I was six (the other: the 1953 "War Of the Worlds") and, can still remember watching multiple repeats of on channels 5 and 11 in NYC...40+years'-ago.
I've (personally) always liked "Chitty" much more than "Poppins" because, the vast location shooting of "Chitty" really does embellish the adventure of the story (while: "Poppins", by contrast, looked/looks as if it would've been suited toward being a stage production right from the beginning).
This is how the original United Artists' source should sound. HoffMazon's criminal troll has YouTube uploads of the digitally-remastered, anniversary-edition soundtrack; however, he's (also) got an Internet Archive account called "Musical_Lover_1980" i.postimg.cc/NM1vKNLP/Screenshot-20240109-175741-Gallery.jpg ; where, he transferred such a crackly/inner-groove-distorted copy of the vintage record: I would've considered doing that a waste of bandwidth.
