305MB mega.nz/file/sT8WkThD#CtRCBzxMtCm-0TxTl906-f55kfjsGIs8S3Q0-BQXHdwThe $150 alternative to the Ludwig record, seriously: i.postimg.cc/zGxtC76J/Screenshot-20220606-2005262.pngWhy? Because: Ampex would've received from Atlantic the same, earliest copy master Ludwig simultaneously cut the initial batch of vinyl using; due-to the fact, simply, because Ampex had already manufactured an inventory of consumer-release tapes of LZII still carrying the subtitle "The Only Way to Fly" BEFORE Atlantic had even abandoned marketing the record's packaging with it on the spline (they thought it was a euphemism for encouraging drug use). The tapes themselves soon later (by 1970) dropped it from their boxing also (just to keep album titles uniform); however, Ampex would've kept their own production master of LZII up until their contract with Atlantic ended in 1973 (which, in the case of Led Zeppelin's catalog on reel, concluded with HOUSES OF THE HOLY in March '73 --- where: three versions of that one happen to exist; a 7 1/2ips Ampex copy with a blue-edge box, a 7 1/2ips Magtec copy with a black-edge box, and a -garbage- 3 3/4ips Columbia Record Club copy in a dull black border-trim box). JPJ's bassline is not "unnoticeable" at all! i.postimg.cc/tTCNYy0d/Polish-20240308-195959151.jpg
