Since today would've been Paul and Linda's 55th anniversary...the 60th anniversary of *this* song happens to be coming-up, also: in two weeks (I think?, March 29th); when, it would become the first song to make the quickest jump in history to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (at the time) --- which, famously culminated in their having the Top 5 all to themselves during the week of April 4, 1964.
The sonic processing apparent on the cymbals of the United Artists' source is definitely different than what is deemed "the canon mono standard".
Another thing I've always felt is, that, there is a *piano* buried in this mix. There are pockets within the song where one can hear the resonant "plonk" of it, embellishing the rhythm of the bass. It's *not* from the intermodulation of an acoustic guitar's timbre or that "bottleneck"-type "clang" noise...it's something *distinct* on its own, blended-in with the bassline. The mono mix makes it sound like there's a piano in there (someplace!) even moreso.
